Alexa Giovanni is from Seven Lakes, North Carolina. People who know her say she's got that southern hospitality with a New York

backbone. She was born in Nesconset, New York to a rambunctious New York Italian family. She moved down to North Carolina during her early childhood but was able to maintain her New York roots amidst the southern culture she became accustomed to.

 From a young age, she found a passion for the performing arts. Her father always said "choose something that when you wake up in

the morning, you'll be happy to go to work." Whether it was community theatre productions, dance recitals, or choir concerts, she knew she was happiest getting to tell stories on stage. She knew it was the "something" her father always told her about.

She stayed actively involved in her local theatre and dance community and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at

Coastal Carolina University. She recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from CCU and received the Outstanding Student Award for her program. Following her graduation, she's been working with Cedar Fair Entertainment, performing in shows in Allentown, PA and

Charlotte, NC. In January 2024, she will be relocating to New York City and looks forward to returning to her home state.

Whenever she's away from the stage, you'll find her photographing sports events and dance competitions, or doing portraiture work. 

Photography is a part of her "something" too. Her background in theatre translates into her work as a photographer because like theatre, photography allows her to tell stories. Whether it's dance, theatre, music, or photography, she aims to inspire the next generation of artists and help them find their "something" too.
